Registration, Reimbursement & Accommodation

All invited faculty for ESCMID Global are entitled to a free registration, this includes speakers, chairpersons and ESCMID-appointed chairs in Integrated Symposia. Faculty will receive an email with a direct link for their personal registration in January along with instructions on how to register for the congress. Speakers and ESCMID-appointed chairs for Integrated Symposia* are entitled to a flat rate reimbursement for travel expenses. For persons traveling within Europe, the amount is 500 EUR (€) and for those outside Europe, the amount is 1.2K EUR (€). During the registration process you will be asked to submit your banking details and the flat rate will be transferred automatically to your account within 8 weeks after the congress. 

ESCMID is not responsible for checking compliance of the provided backing details. Please note that in case of incomplete or incorrect bank details the reimbursement cannot be issued. 

Please note that faculty members must book their own travel itineraries to attend ESCMID Global. ESCMID is only providing a reimbursement for travel and is not responsible for making any travel bookings.

Speakers and ESCMID-appointed chairs for Integrated Symposia* are entitled to a maximum of 3 nights at the expense of ESCMID in one of the hotels reserved for ESCMID Global faculty. You will be asked to indicate the dates for your stay during the registration process and ESCMID will finalise the booking. Once the room is confirmed, you will receive an official confirmation from the ESCMID Global hotel partner. If you wish to book more nights than what is covered by ESCMID, you will be invoiced for the extra costs after the booking is confirmed. Bookings made by speakers in different hotels/accommodations will not be reimbursed.

Please note: No-shows and last-minute cancellations will be charged and the costs will be deducted from the flat rate reimbursement for travel costs issued after the congress.
