The ESCMID Global 2025 invited programme is built on the basis of a call for session proposals addressed to ESCMID affiliated and partner societies, ESCMID Study Groups and ESCMID committees. The ESCMID Global Programme Committee is proud to acknowledge the scientific input and proposals for symposia, educational sessions, keynote lectures and meet-the-expert sessions from the following organisations:
The ESCMID Global Programme Committee consists of experts across the range of specialities in Clinical Microbiology (CM) and Infectious Diseases (ID). They meet twice a year to firstly create the invited scientific programme and then to assign accepted abstracts to oral sessions creating the abstract programme.
The organisations listed here have contributed to the development of the scientific programme at ESCMID Global this year by co-organising sessions within the invited programme. Their participation in the congress enhances both the width and breadth of content available for attendees.
ESCMID is comprised of a number of committees and subcommittees who lead the Society and guide it along the path forward. These entities also support the organisation of the ESCMID Global scientific programme by submitting cross-cutting sessions that reach for higher-level science and education.
ESCMID Study Groups (SGs) are dedicated to pushing scientific understanding and facilitating educational initiatives including ESCMID Global. Each SG focuses on a specialised topic and co-organise related sessions within the scientific programme bringing with them, their expertise and innovation.
