ESCMID is pleased to welcome members of the press and media to ESCMID Global, the world’s most prominent event in the field of infection. Here you can find information on how to register as press for the event and find helpful information.

How to Register

Whether you are joining onsite in Vienna or online, you are highly recommended to register ahead of time to avoid delays.

To complete your press registration for ESCMID Global, please email the Press Office at communication(at)escmid.org and include the following details: 

• Full name
• Prefix (e.g., Mr., Ms., Dr.)
• Nationality
• Country
• Email address
• Media organisation/publication you represent 

IMPORTANT: Please attach either a valid press/media card or a letter of accreditation from your media outlet. 

Please note that access to ESCMID Global is reserved for members of the medical and professional media. However, relevant representatives of consumer media may be considered on a case-by-case basis. 

By registering as a member of the press, each press representative confirms their understanding and adherence to the congress Media and Embargo Policy. All media activities not explicitly mentioned below need to be discussed at the earliest possible opportunity with the ESCMID Press Office.
