At summer school, you can develop public speaking skills in a safe environment and receive feedback from the faculty and your peers. During the registration process, participants are requested to disclose the topic they will present during Summer School. The student presentation will consist of a 5-minute presentation followed by 5 minutes of feedback. The 10-minute oral presentation is an effective way to try out new ideas and improve your public speaking skills. The presentation topic can be a clinical case study or a research project. The sessions will focus on improving presentation skills rather than discussing the topic. In advance of summer school, one of ESCMID's educational experts will provide detailed guidance on slides, body language, and voice use in a tutorial video format.
ESCMID is applying to the European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME®) for CME accreditation for this event.
ESCMID is applying for the Ethical MedTech Compliance.
