This EUCIC advanced module will cover epidemiology and data-analysis of clinical infection control problems, from formulating a valid research question to designing a study, performing data analysis and interpreting the results. Throughout the course, theoretical lectures on clinical epidemiology and general principles of health - care epidemiology will be intertwined with group work on case studies.
Intended audience:
Medical doctors and pharmacists, nurses or other healthcare professionals with an MSc or PhD are eligible, provided they completed the basic module or have experience in IPC
Objectives:
The participants will gain hands-on training in epidemiology and data-analysis and will have ample opportunity for active participation.
