The Trainee Association of ESCMID (TAE) is represented and led by the TAE Steering Committee (SC), a dedicated group of eight emerging scientists and trainees nominated and elected by their peers. They are supported by the TAE's national representatives who ensure global representation and promote collaboration among trainees worldwide.
In 2024, the TAE Steering Committee vacancies are to be filled by three new members for a three-year term (April 2025 to April 2028).
You can now cast your vote for the ESCMID TAE Steering Committee Election 2024 and determine who will represent your interests within our society.
The election platform opens at 12:00 noon CET on Tuesday, 17 December 2024 and closes at 12:00 noon CET on Wednesday, 22 January 2025.
The current TAE (SC) is a group of vibrant emerging scientists in clinical microbiology (CM) and infectious diseases (ID), uniting their skills and expertise to drive collaboration and advancement as leaders of the association.
Networking is at the heart of the TAE and critical to the growth of young professionals in training. Within ESCMID and its affiliates, the TAE brings together trainees and young scientists in a collaborative setting with a focus on coordinating efforts to grow and promote TAE activities, for better outcomes and new initiatives in CM and ID internationally.
